Pastors Arthur & Rosalyn Wilkerson

We are a Non-Denominational Teaching Ministry

“Endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace”. Eph. 4:3

The above scripture was given to us, United Faith Ministries by God the Holy Spirit as a guide post for the work of this ministries path Christ has set us upon.  For us, it is the anchoring scripture; it is the verse that keeps my wife and I focused on the Cross of Christ and what He did for us.  We can never repay Him for paying our debt and giving us this privilege of Salvation to eternal life.  There are a thousand scriptures and each and every one of them has its importance in the life of a believer.  For us, this scripture helps to …keep our walk worthy of the vocation wherein we are called (vs 1).   To be real, it helps us to know that we’re not all that,  we are “more than conquerors” as all believers should be in Christ, and not high minded.  And for those that are not conquerors, it causes us to know that as gifts to the body, we should help them to be conquerors and overcomers, always showing the same love, patience, longsuffering, compassion and mercy shown to us by Christ, encouraging and exhorting them that have not yet the graces we have.  We should never over look someone because of their status in life, we never know when we are entertaining angels.  The word endeavor:  the archaic meaning of endeavor is to achieve or reach; the intransitive verb (vt) says to work with a set purpose.

So then, “we press towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus”.  To the keeping of the “unity of the spirit”.  For us at UFM, unity: means (harmony; being on one accord), and is akin to love in the sense of benevolence, being unselfish towards others and as disciples that is “loving  one another”.  We believe that unity among individuals in the knowledge of Christ and His Gospel makes the body strong, a place where the power of the Holy Spirit can truly dwell and bring peace and rest to our souls.  The doctrines and traditions of man has not brought unity to the Church (the body of Christ) only division with programs and no power.

We do “Endeavor to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace” , because this scripture causes us as we set with purpose which is to bond: to come into agreement or covenant, becoming one body, one spirit with the one hope of eternal life with the one Lord, through one faith, by one baptism of that spirit, the Holy Spirit (infilling thereof),  who only speaks of those things pertaining to the righteousness and holiness of the one true and living God and His Son Jesus Christ.  This is the heart of this Ministry, to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matt. 6: 33),  by endeavoring to always seek unity and peace with humility and meekness.  Peace: is that state of tranquility and security that we as believers have gained through the Cross of Christ.  We all were separated from God by sin and Jesus by His death appeased the very wrath of God and became the door by which we have obtained grace and mercy and reconciliation with our God , becoming children of the Most High and at Peace.

Now, My wife Rosalyn and I pray that the words of this commentary blog will be a blessing to you and inspire and exhort you to; endeavor in unity, peace and love by the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

(These words by the Spirit of God I pray will cause whom ever reads these words to be Changed in body and Spirit to be more like Christ everyday of our lives. I pray that Almighty God cover you by the Blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Fill you with Holy Spirit causing you to be more like Him everyday of life that Yoy may have Eternal Life with HIM our Lord and Savior. Amen.

I only got to speak with you for a few minutes as I checked into my room, but I’m happy to have met you. It was comforting to chat with someone who has gone through some of the same physical maladies as I.
